BELIZE
Korie and Alicia Williams are an inspiration.
Since 2003, they have been serving with Hearts of Christ Children’s Ministry, providing impoverished children with tuition fees, textbooks, uniforms, backpacks, and school supplies. In Belize, families have to pay for their children’s education. Without Hearts of Christ, there would be hundreds of children unable to receive an education.
This is Dennis!
Dennis was sponsored as a child through The Hearts of Christ ministry and was able to attend school and graduate with a degree. Attending school and his association with Hearts of Christ, Dennis accepted Jesus as his Savior. Today, Dennis is a school teacher himself, mentoring students in academics and, more importantly, providing the gospel message daily. Dennis is also a worship leader in the community church. His goal is to reach as many young children in spiritual poverty as possible and provide the hope that only the Gospel of Jesus can bring.
Hearts of Christ Children’s Ministry currently has several needs waiting to be met:
Hundreds of Belizean children are unable to attend school due to a lack of financial means. Through Hearts of Christ, you can support the primary or high school education of a boy or girl in need in Belize for a gift of $250. A gift of $2,500 sponsors one year of a student’s dream to attend the University of Belize.
A gift of $150 feeds a hungry family for 2-3 weeks.
A gift of $140 buys 20 Bibles to be distributed in villages.
Help children in need get off the floor and into a bunk bed with mattresses and a water tank installed with a gift of $500.
Enable someone with a disability to maintain mobility by gifting them with a wheelchair for $100
A gift of $12,000 funds a home for a needy family. This expression of Christ’s love opens up many doors in the community to share the Good News.
