Scripture Union Ghana (SU Ghana) is the largest evangelical para-church organization in Ghana and has been in the country since 1890. 

Working in partnerships with churches, Scripture Union Ghana aims to:

make God’s Good News known to children, young people, 

and families, and encourage people of all ages to meet 

God daily through Bible reading and prayer

so that people come to faith, grow in maturity, and become committed church members and servants of a world in need.

New in 2025: SU Ghana has been relying on rented facilities for its discipleship camps, which come with high costs and logistical challenges. With your support, they can establish a dedicated campsite facility on a 14.2-acre plot of land to serve thousands of children and young people in Ghana. This campsite will provide a permanent, cost-effective, and uninterrupted space for life-transforming camping experiences all year round.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to launch the construction of this campsite. Your support truly makes a difference. All donations are appreciated.

Ongoing Needs:

Every year over 2,000 students participate in spiritual leadership development training throughout Ghana at Training Conferences. Your gift of $35 will enable a student to attend and be dramatically impacted for Christ. A gift of $350 will sponsor 10 students.

Scripture Union (SU) reaches out to more than 200 children in deprived communities through programs called Christmas Community Missions. Your gift of $25 will help one impoverished child experience the love of Jesus at this camp. Every year during the Christmas season, this camp is held in 6-10 rural communities, where children are provided with food, clothing and spiritual guidance and a bible. Your gift of $3,000 will host 200 children.

Help Scripture Union Ghana produce discipleship materials to nurture youth. With a gift of $30 will provide a bible and materials for 10 youth.

SU has 10 branch offices across the country and is in need of laptops for effective ministry. Your gift of $500 will provide one laptop. Our goal is to award six laptops.
